This scholarship is available to students who possess outstanding leadership skills, integrity and drive to continue their higher education despite financial constraints. The award is worth $10,000 and can be renewed for three more years. It is only for undergraduate students and must be spent on educational expenses such as room, supplies, books, tuition and other student fees.

Requirements

To become an eligible candidate, here the requirements you should have:

  • You must be a U.S. citizen.
  • You should have the latest transcript of grades.
  • You should include details of your volunteer and extracurricular activities plus work experience.
  • You must be a high school senior student of a school located in the U.S. or in its territories, also those who live in U.S. Armed Forces base or home schooled.
  • You must be a student who will graduate either in the winter of 2013 or spring of 2014.
  • You must demonstrate your financial need through your parents’ latest filed tax return.
  • You must display strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0.
  • You must demonstrate attributes of citizenship, integrity, leadership and drive in workplace, school and community activities.
  • You must have plans to pursue a full time and undergraduate course leading to a bachelor’s degree in an accredited 4 year U.S. university or college.
  • You should include a short scholarship personal statement about your educational and career objectives.
  • You should also attach a scholarship essay about your leadership experience.
