Advice on Personal Statement for University of Texas at Austin Admissions

The University of Texas at Austin personal statement should be a sample of your writing skills so it should be thoroughly checked for spelling and grammar errors. Try to keep your essay concise and have other people proofread your work. Use this personal essay to give the admission committee a chance to get to know you better. Make sure to answer the question asked. It helps to include information about your background and why you chose the school. If you had a low GPA one semester, you can take this time to talk about why it was low. Be honest and genuine.
