Advice on Personal Statement for Tohoku University Admissions

The Tohoku University personal statement should be a chance for the applicant to talk about why they want to pursue their desired area of study. All personal statements should be unique and should be honest. It helps for the applicant to talk about what makes them different from all of the other applicants and why they know they will succeed in the program. Applicants should give themselves plenty of time to write the essay and should proofread it several times before submitting it.
